About CWAM

In 1994 a small group of enlightened Coventry motorcyclists got together with the aim of making local bikers better, safer riders. Coventry and Warwickshire Advanced Motorcyclists now boasts 200 members and has mentored hundreds to Advanced Test standard and beyond. In fact during the past six years 38 of our members have progressed to become observers  holding national qualifications issued by IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry). The group is a charity administered by dedicated volunteers who form a committee, running CWAM for the benefit of its members.

Although our prime motivation is to provide one-to-one guidance for riders in preparation for the IAM RoadSmart's Advanced Motorcycle Test, we also offer a good range of other bike related and social activities aimed at enhancing the biking experience and bringing together like-minded people in a friendly environment. We generally meet in the comfortable surroundings of the Jaguar Social Club and our social activities form an integral part what we have to offer. CWAM can fill your life if you're an eager volunteer or you may simply join us to improve your roadcraft skills, whatever, you'll find a warm welcome.
CWAM is affiliated to IAM RoadSmart and as such enjoys the benefits of belonging
to a national organisation.

CWAM - run by bikers, for bikers.
